Giada De Laurentiis is honoring a loved one’s passing.

On Monday, Nov. 3, the celebrity chef posted several baby photos as a tribute to her younger brother, Dino, who died in 2003 at 31 years old.

“22 years without my partner in crime, miss u every day ❤️” she wrote in the caption, which accompanied four pictures of herself and Dino as toddlers, sitting in a bucket together.

Just like Giada, Dino was born in Rome, according to Variety. He worked in film and television, starting as an apprentice editor in 1990 and working his way up to roles like post-production supervisor and unit photographer.

Giada regularly shares tributes to her late brother on the anniversary of his death and birthdays. For example, in 2013, she posted, “Missing my brother Dino extra hard, who would have turned 41 today… But every year, much like a cake, I savor every moment we shared and his light in my heart grows even brighter… Tanti Baci!!!”

She and her sister Eloisa De Laurentiis celebrated Dino’s life in an episode of Giada in Italy, when the pair cooked a meal of their brother’s favorite dishes. The episode, titled “Our Brother Would Love This,” included recipes for Cheesy Mashed Potatoes, Fennel Gratin Pizzette, Charred Broccoli Rabe and Pork Chop Agrodolce.

Giada and Eloisa have another brother, Igor De Laurentiis.

Giada has also participated in cancer awareness campaigns, like a 2013 PSA for Stand Up to Cancer.

The Super-Italian cookbook author posted a different tribute last week for one of her cherished pets.

“Celebrated 9 perfect years of Bruno this weekend ❤️ Forever grateful he’s ours,” she wrote on Instagram on Monday, Oct. 27, with photos of Bruno, a Jack Russell terrier.

Giada frequently documents the activities of her “furry fam,” such as her other dogs, Ollie and Enzo, and ragdoll cat Bella, on the Instagram account giadaszoo.
