Who needs a "smoker' when you have this? My set up is as follows: ceramic insert goes in with the vortex in the middle. I run a snake around the vortex. FireDial goes on top with a water pan. Then the smoker attachment to finish it off.

    I have the same set up but havnt used it yet. Hows the temp control. Would you say better then wsm or the same? The only difference is i will be using a pizza pan in the middle instead of the ceramic that you have

    Have the same kettle and Onlyfire attachment. Don’t have the ceramic insert, vortex, or firedial though. Mine seems to want to run pretty hot using the minion or a modified minion method, so I’ve just been using a snake method similar to what you’re doing. Seems to keep pretty solid low and slow temps using that method. Also have a rotisserie for it but I’ve not yet used it. This weekend for sure.

    I use a ceramic insert on my 22wsm with a firedial. I tried the same with the vortex running a snake, but I think it worked better with minion
