Upgrade your favorite pandesal with an Italian bread dipping sauce. Get Kimpoy Feliciano’s recipe HERE:
The pandesal or Filipino bread roll is hands down the most popular bread in the Philippines.
Pinoys love to have pandesal during breakfast or merienda and often pair it with coffee.
It can be eaten as is or with a sandwich spread, or with other fillings such as tuna and ham.

In a recent episode of Pinas Sarap’s live cooking show on Facebook, ECQusina, vlogger-actor Kimpoy Feliciano shared his favorite pandesal dish with a special dipping sauce.
Kimpoy is currently based in New Zealand and since there are no bakeshops selling pandesal where they are, he’s lucky enough that his mom, Mommy Nene, knows how to bake pandesal.
So, using the pandesal personally baked by his mom, Kimpoy shared his Pandesal Butter Toast with Italian Bread Dipping Sauce recipe.
According to Kimpoy, the sauce that he made is inspired by the bread dipping sauce he has tried in Italian restaurants and loved so much.
Here are all the ingredients you’ll need to recreate his Pandesal Butter Toast with Italaian Bread Dipping Sauce recipe:
Pandesal
Butter
Sugar
Parmesan cheese
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
Garlic
Italian herb blend/Oregano spices
Pepper
You can toast the pandesal in an oven or on a frying pan just like what Kimpoy did.
He also suggested that if you can’t find an Italian herb blend, you can use other oregano spices.
Learn how to make this leveled-up pandesal dish from Kimpoy and his mom in this episode of ECQusina.
