Hello, this is my 5th bread, so far the best one yet. It's been the softest but I'm not entirely sure what I did differently. I've been following the same short from YouTube. Do you guys have any more feedback for me to improve?

My thoughts: use a bread knife. And let the knife do the work with the slightest pressure.
Buy a serrated knife, it will avoid squishing the bread

Start a journal of your bread adventures. Document your process and times. Your loaf looks good. Nice bounce back too.
Only a barbarian uses that kind of knife on a nice sourdough loaf.

Nice crumb, beautiful colour (I personally prefer it a bit darker but that just looks delish).

I think you should buy a bread knife
Bread knife. Only thought. Didn’t make it through
Bread good. Knife bad. Not even a bad knife, but it’s by far the wrong knife for the job. The crumb looks fantastic but it might have a denser mouth feel because it’s getting compressed a bit while you attempt to cut it.
You should treat yourself to a proper bread knife! You have earned it with that gorgeous work of art. Is it super tangy??
I cringed watching that. The bread is beautiful, but that knife is the wrong tool.dangerous!!! And the smashing of the bread, no, just no.
Don’t be discouraged by the comments, get a bread knife and carry on, as I said the bread looks beautiful.
