Welcome to my food diary!
I made a very popular Turkish dish called lahmacun. It’s also called Turkish pizza in a lot places. It’s a thin dough with a minced beef and vegetables mixture op top with lots of herbs and spices. It’s very popular and loved and seen as comfort food in Turkish cuisine. I made this for my whole family but I made it mostly for my husband as it is my husbands favorite food. I love cooking dinner for my husband and knowing what’s for dinner tonight.

My husband finally had a day off, so I wanted to surprise him by making his favorite food, Turkish lun. We live in the Netherlands, and they love to call it Turkish pizza over here. It’s a minced beef and veggie mixture with lots of spices spread on a thinly rolled out piece of homemade dough. And I was very excited to use my pizza oven, and they turned out so good.
