I was able to attend an incredible Musar dinner recently. We tasted a wide range of vintages that were accompanied by great food.
I had the honor of meeting Marc Hochar as well.

Tasting the 50 year old white was surreal, it still had so much life left. The 1997 was stunning.
Of the reds, I preferred the ‘98 over the ‘95, but both were drinking beautifully right now. I thought the ‘04 was still too young.

The rosé paired with the grapefruit and Hokkaido crudo was one of the best pairings I’ve had this year.

Nice! ‘81 Blanc, which I had at Mugaritz in 2019, is easily one of the greatest whites I’ve had.

I went to a similar event with Marc Hochar last week!

Didn’t try so many vintages, only 2018, 2009 and 1999.

What a guy, so passionate and genuine.
