I put together this database for vegan protein sources; it has a little over 200 entries (includes single ingredient foods like TVP AND tofu and also prepared foods like protein bars and snacks).
You can sort by protein %, grams of protein per $ and a few others options. You can also filter by item category (protein bars, pantry staples, snacks), allergies, and effort required (can you just heat it up or does it require preparation). I thought it be might useful to share here since you can sort by protein % on a calorie basis 😊
Let me know if you think of any other plant- based foods that should be added to this list or if you have any ideas for making it more useful!

one thing to consider: for ranking proteins, maybe allow us to apply a filter for foods that meet a certain protein:calorie ratio (so when I sort by cost, it’s not predominantly foods that have more carbs or fat than protein)
Thanks for sharing this. I’m allergic to pea protein and it’s been madness since they’ve started adding it to everything! This may help!
