Even if you are a tough cookie, everyone can use a little dessert pick-me-up.
Crumbl announced that the bakery chain will be handing out free cookies on Thursday, Nov. 6, to “make the day feel a little lighter,” according to a press release obtained by PEOPLE.
Customers who visit the popular cookie spot will get a free sleeve of Chocolate Chip Cookie Thins from its latest collaboration with Martha Stewart. Each sleeve contains two cookies and fans do not need to make a purchase to score the freebie.

The free cookies are unlike Crumbl’s iconically cake-like desserts. Instead of the chain’s typical frosted and thick cookies, the Chocolate Chip Cookie Thins are described by the brand as being “delicately crisp” and full of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Plus, the cookies are not decorated with Crumbl’s common drizzles, pipings or crumbles.
CEO Jason McGowan called the free treat a “small act of kindness” and said, “We know a cookie doesn’t fix everything. For some, it may not fix anything. But our hope is everyone will feel seen and loved for just a moment.”
In addition to the day-long deal, McGowan announced that he and his wife launched a foundation working to eliminate school lunch debt for children. The pair donated $1 million to start the efforts, per a release.
Stewart is taking over Crumbl’s rotating weekly menu from Nov. 3 to Nov. 8 with the cookie thins, plus six other treats.
Stewart co-developed seven desserts, each inspired by recipes from her 1982 cookbook Entertaining. Her seven treats include the Chocolate Chip Cookie Thins, New York Cheesecake, Classic Fudge Brownie, Chocolate Tart Cookie, Coconut Layer Cake, Pumpkin Sheet Cake and Mile-High Lemon Pie.
Fans online have praised this week’s menu, with one person commenting on Instagram that it is “the collab we needed.” Most of the comments are focused on the Chocolate Chip Cookie Thins with plenty of praise like “best chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever had…!!!!!” and “Best cookie that Crumbl has ever made.”
Crumbl has previously collaborated with other stars including the Kardashian-Jenner crew, Olivia Rodrigo and Benson Boone.
