I'm overwintering my jalapeno plant indoors and after pruning it and placing it in a pot all these tiny bugs began appearing where new growth emerges.

Aphids. This is why I keep my peppers in the garage, dormant. I’m sure you will get lots of advice how to get rid of them. Nothing beats the thumb and forefinger

Start with a spray bottle of water with a tiny drop of dish soap in it. If that doesn’t make a difference after a couple of days, then I would go with neem oil. You could also get some ladybugs from your local garden store, release them at sunset, and watch the cutest carnivores on earth chow down.

Ladybugs will feast on those. You can get them from nurseries or online.

Aphids. Coat the entire plant liberally with insecticidal soap. Make sure to get the top and bottoms of the leaves. It’s always worked for me

If theres only this much per plant, just take them outside and gently hose them off, spray with soapy water mix if you want but aphids are pretty easy to get rid of when theres only this many
