Hunts tomato sauce has become crap. We recently bought a bunch of cans (June 2/2027 date) as we use them in spaghetti sauce. But the can on the left is what the entire lot of six looked like … next to the last can from our previous (good) batch. The can on the left is more brown than red and smells bad. The can on the right is what we’ve always bought and has little odour to it. We threw out 6 bad cans and won’t buy this brand anymore. Shame on you Hunts.

Maybe you just bought a bad batch?
You should have contacted the company so they could recall the bad batch before people get food poisoning!

Report it to the company, they usually reimburse you and pull the batch and investigate.
i literally just used some yesterday and it looked like your good can. you must have gotten a bad batch or they went racid somehow
For those who purchase those cans of tomato paste and use like a tablespoon out of it, consider buying it in squeeze tube form! It has saved us lots of money and waste.
Alton Brown also showed a trick where you take both ends off the can and freeze it like that. Then, as you need it, you push it out like a freeze pop.
Just thought I’d share some tips, lol.
