I have never pulled a shot of espresso in my life. I’ve been deep into research mode the last few months, and will finally make my first shots tonight. I feel like I can run the Bianca with my eyes closed after all of the videos I’ve seen. The 078 has SSPs. Yes I probably jumped too far too fast, but I will grow into this quickly. It is scary addicting 🙃

The good thing about nice stuff is that it holds value well, and you can always resell it. I have your exact setup although it took me probably 3 years before I went all-in. Enjoy!
I bought lelit bianca v2 as my first ever machine. Took a couple months to get everything dialed in, and now our family cant drink espresso or lattes anywhere else.
First thing is to make sure you set the pressure under the machine so you can get 9 bars at the group head. Mine was at 11 or 12, which made it impossible to get 9 bar at the group.

I used barista express impress and those e61 machines are for advanced people but now I got e61 HX machine. Coffee making is easier and better than BBE because I can control shots more. Honestly more clear to understand that water temperature, pressure, pre-infusion time can change taste of coffee and try to set my preferred tastes. It’s more fun actually and easier instead of struggling inconsistent shots from BBE. I am not saying BBE is bad machine hahaha. It’s a good machine for money and still can make good coffee.
Congratulations! Sure, you spent a lot of money, but at least you won’t have to upgrade anything. If you don’t have an auto level tamper, you should get one. I have always found it difficult to tamp level.
