Endless descriptors: Black currant, blackberry, violet, black truffle, sweet smoky oak, cedar, aged cigar box, leather, damp earth, dried currant, dusty spice. But nothing on whether the wines were enjoyable. So what was the point?
Where did you get that ‘87? That’s my birth year and it is incredibly hard to find any quality wine from that year given the generally difficult vintage
How long did you decant each? I imagine the Margaux is drinking young.
