RASIKA PENN QUARTER’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY
We love the ring of our 20th anniversary, as does Ashok Bajaj, owner of Rasika, among other fine-dining venues in DC. When Bajaj opened the doors in December 2005, group executive chef Vikram Sunderam took the helm, and the restaurant quickly earned a reputation for excellence. A James Beard Award winner, chef Sunderam leads a kitchen that critics, both local and national, have consistently praised for its food and service.

To mark this milestone, Rasika Penn Quarter offers a special Best of Rasika tasting month from October through December. This five-course menu, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, is a tribute to the celebrated dishes that have made the restaurant a favorite for two decades. The curated wine pairings are available to complete the experience.

For October, Rasika’s tasting menu begins with the signature palak chaat. The meal offers choices for the first three courses, including honey ginger scallops or tandoori paneer shashlik. Main courses feature options like lamb roganjosh or gujarati lasgana, served with accompaniments such as naan and saffron pulao. The meal culminates with a dessert plate including apple jalebi and date toffee pudding, offering a comprehensive journey through Rasika’s acclaimed cuisine. 633 D St. NW, 202.637.1222, @rasikadc
