Italian Wine Emotion presents Italian wine in Prague - News from Embassies

The 15th edition of Italian Wine Emotion was held in the Zofin Palace in Prague. The most important and long-running event in the Czech Republic dedicated exclusively to Italian wine was organized by the Italian-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Camic), with the Italian Embassy in Prague and the Ice agency. Italian Wine Emotion offered this year a wide territorial overview of Italian wines with as many as 15 regions present in Prague. Twenty-six companies from Italy presented their products. The afternoon session was attended by 127 Czech operators, while in the evening the event opened to personalities from institutions and associations with the participation of the Italian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Mauro Marsili.

Italian wine is recording an important success in the Czech Republic this year with an increase in imports from Italy between January and August of 17 percent. Italy is the leading international supplier of wine to the Czech Republic with sales of more than 94 million euros and a 3% increase, with a market share for imported wine of 35%.
