Not sure if these count as berries… I’ve tried this particular pepper and they’re absolutely brutal on the heat levels. They’re thick walled and I don’t see how anyone could down one of these things in its entirety. A half of a much smaller one turned me inside out.

I wish they hurt stink bugs, our local population thinks all nightshade berries are small and juicy berries they can ram their proboacous into and drink away, but with peppers they are hollow, so they stab in, nope nothing here, stab in somewhere else, nope nothing here, stab again, nope… then they try a different pod… All the while they are shoving mold spores inside so later on I cut a ripe pod open and it’s full of mold.
