2017 was a “classic” vintage. We tasted a vertical from 2012-2017.

This wine was a little lean in the middle palate, but showed great fruit and structure. Slight tannins, no green notes. Plenty of dark fruit, plums, blackberry and delicate spice. My daughter’s birth year, so I’m looking forward to tasting more from 2017 in the future.

    Cheers-

Lovely right bank chateau! Visited last year and tried a couple vintages including ‘17 which was drinking really nicely then as well. Have a ‘13 in my cellar waiting to drink in a few years.
