We’re super excited for Christmas, and something that we love to do is go shopping for our loved ones. And there’s already a few events for us to look forward to, like the Big Design Market and the Disney pop-up store. And now, Alliance Française de Melbourne have announced that they will be bringing their annual Christmas Market back to Abbotsford Convent. Find plenty of holiday cheer and French culture at this delightful market, with artisan stalls, live entertainment, and yes, plenty of delicious French food. The market will take place on Saturday November 22 and Sunday November 23.

Last year, this event attracted over 5,000 visitors and featured over 35 stallholders. This time, you can expect an even richer program of stalls and cultural experiences.
Browse through the market, and find gourmet treats, handmade crafts and unique gifts for your loved ones. Think jewellery, homewares, books and more. The little ones will have fun with a dedicated Kids Corner, and there will also be live entertainment and family-friendly activities.

Don’t miss the vast array of delicious French food and drinks from local vendors, such as Escargot Bakery, Frencheese, By Josephine and Bordeaux & Beyond.
On Sunday, there will also be a Paw Parade at 10am. You’re welcome to register your dog, and show them off in a fur-bulous Christmas or French outfit.
French Trial Classes will also be available, although bookings are required.
