It creates fall off the bone tender, crispy and moist wings. I want to thank this sub for always teaching me something new when it comes to smoking.

I too recently started doing them this way, and its now my only way! Yours look great!

Yes. More info on your method for those amazing wings!

  3. I have z-grill. I set to smoke and place the wings on the smoker cold and when the smoking gets rolling I crank it to HIGH (425-450F). I cook for 30 mins and flip and I personally reduce it to 375 for last 30 mins and internal temp of 200-205F.

So I feel like there’s some flaws in the logic here.

If it’s 90 outside vs if it’s 45 outside, this is a very different cook. Everyone’s cooker will take different amounts of time to get to temp…
I just feel like there’s too much variance

Hey OP   is this from frozen/thawed or fresh… asking for a friend

Look poisoned. Send them to me and I can dispose of them properly. Never can be too safe.

So you take it below freezing how? Also rubbery skin regardless of what you try to say I can see it.

I tried doing wings at 225 for like 2 hours then finishing high. Im definitely going to try doing this next time.

  10. I’ve done this a few times and I’ve noticed that some of them get pretty charred and burned. Does anyone know if this is a known issue with a Traeger and if there’s anything I can do to stop it from happening?
