I saw a five-star chef turn these into these and cook them. Let’s try it. So, using your potato peeler, you simply shave off the outside of the asparagus. So, it looks like that. I’ve never done this before. I’m excited. Now, we got them all trimmed up. We’re simply going to cut the ends off. Now, it’s time to blanch these things. But don’t forget to salt your water first. Now, we throw them in. While those are boiling, you want to make some ice water. All right. Right. After 2 or 3 minutes, you can tell they’re done. We’re going to throw them right into our ice water and stop the cooking. You can let them sit like this for a day, 2 days, 3 days, it doesn’t matter. But now, let me show you how we’re going to cook them. So, we got our pan hot. We’re going to go in with one tablespoon Irish butter and about a tablespoon of some oil. All right. Throw these in. Now, it’s time to season them up. Ranch seasoning. That’s right. I said it. Ranch and cheese mixed together. Might be one of the best things we’ve ever made. And we’re cooking on a high temperature. We’re just kind of getting a little parmesan crust on there. It’s only been a little over a minute. And look at that. Now it’s time to see what it’s all about. Okay. Wow. That’s the best asparagus I’ve ever made. I highly recommend. Yum. Yum. Get you some. Y’all got to try that. Hey, mama. You got to try this.
