I saw a recipe for one of these with whole cranberry sauce and French onion soup mix with a bit of apple cider & fresh OJ but misplaced that link so I didn’t have the cooking times. My mom cooked turkey tenderloins in her crockpot and they came out so terribly dry I didn’t want to make that mistake. Anyone ever cook these in the slow cooker?

Always cook poultry on low. Simple.
I do low for ten hours with broth and gravy.
Low for 6 hours and it’s perfect. We do these every thanksgiving.
Turkey breast
Chicken broth
One pack Liptons Onion Soup mix
One can whole cranberries over the top
Season to taste
6 hours on low
BAM! The best tasting and tender turkey ever.
I did this one. Added one pack of onion soup mix, one can of cranberry sauce, one tsp garlic, one tsp thyme and some salt and pepper and about 1/4 cup orange juice. I laid a few pats of butter on top too and a splash of chicken stock cause I had a carton open.
One hour on high to get things started and about 5 hours on low. Check for 165 temp.
I felt the onion soup overpowered the flavors. I loved the idea of some bright cranberry flavor but it was just oniony.
I opened a second can of cranberry to serve alongside and the meat was delicious but next time I would cut back on the soup mix.
I saw a video of a guy making this on tiktok and he did 8 hours on low. He used a turkey breast roast, I’m not sure if that changes things but that time and temp makes sense to me.
[Here’s](https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/216078/slow-cooker-cranberry-turkey-breast/) the recipe that comes up on Allrecipes when I search google. Looks like 7 hours on low for a 3 pound roast.
Invest in a smoker if you have the space and make your family happy! These are great smoked. I do 3-4.
