On Saturday, November 29, 2025, a truly unmissable experience returns to Rome for those who love outdoor activities: Librotrekking, the literary trek that celebrates the city through three of its most authentic languages: nature, poetry and cuisine.
A 14-kilometer walk among the most beautiful parks in the capital, organized by the Campareconipiedi – Librotrekking association, to pay homage to the Rome that endures and enchants: the Rome of silent paths, the verses that tell its story and the flavors that reinvent it.
The initiative is dedicated to Antonio Cederna, the visionary who fought for the protection of the Appia Antica and its historic landscape.

The itinerary starts from the Porta Furba Quadraro metro station and crosses four green areas: the Tor Fiscale Park, the Aqueducts Park, the Caffarella and the Via Appia Antica, to tell a hidden Rome, where nature takes center stage and the city seems light years away.
It is an urban trek that smacks of rediscovery: amid Roman cobblestones, secret glimpses and ancient silences, participants will experience direct contact with the green soul of the Capital.
Making the route special will be the readings aloud curated by Alessia Rabacchi, hiking guide and CSEN trekking instructor, who will accompany the group with verses by Trilussa, Pasolini and Aldo Fabrizi, poets who knew how to tell Rome in its contradictions, humor and poignant beauty.
