Popular Mediterranean fast-casual chain Luna Grill has temporarily closed its doors at the Irvine Spectrum, according to the mall’s website. The outpost, located at 524 Spectrum Center Dr, Suite 602, is undergoing unspecified remodeling changes.
The restaurant, known for serving authentic Mediterranean cuisine in a contemporary setting, has long been a favorite for shoppers and locals. According to the OC Register, the company expanded to that location in 2017.
Founded in 2004 by Sean and Maria Pourteymour, Luna Grill was created with the mission of providing families and diners with more healthy Mediterranean options. Every dish is made fresh to order. Its fresh, flavorful, customizable meals are made from high-quality, non-GMO ingredients and meats, like grass-fed ground beef, cage-free chicken, and sustainable salmon.
Its menu consists of signature dishes like juicy kabobs of beef, lamb, and chicken, Persian-style koobideh, gyros, falafel wraps, house-made hummus, gourmet salads, spinach pie, and warm pitas. The eatery also serves craft beer, wine, and other beverages.
