I have a little cold and I would killl to have my grandma make me hot soup right now with the chunks of gourd, bitter greens, and dried shrimps. When I was so sick I couldn’t hold down food she’d make it into a piping hot tea for me with honey and a bit of salt. Soooo refreshing.

How do you usually eat these? I bought one at the Asian market with the idea of making wintermelon tea, but since they’re so large I was thinking I should use it for some sort of soup as well.
