Had Nando’s lunch yesterday for the first time in years. Used to eat there maybe once a week.
I used to go for 1/2 or 1/4 chicken but saw the 5 wings and decided to go for that.
When the plate arrived I was a bit shocked at the small size of all of the wings and the tiny size of 3 of them. These must have come from a baby chicken or some kind of mutant chicken with itty bitty wings.
When the waitress asked if everything is ok I mentioned the micro-wings…and still had some left to show her. I don’t think I came over as too much of a dick. She handled it well verbally; at the same time her facial expression and body language said “yeah I’m so sorry it’s not ideal is it”. 5 mins later she popped by with 2 more micro-wings which was nice and much appreciated.
Is this normal now? Is this the shape of wings to come in 2025?
