Want to create a gorgeous cheese board this Valentine’s day (or any day), but don’t know where to begin? We visited Allison Schilling, owner of STL Cheeseboards, to get tips and tricks for making the board of your dreams. 

The boards at STL Cheese Boards are sure to catch some eyes at your holiday celebration. Highlights include the Hanukkah board, the “O Christmas Tree” large board, the Stocking board, and the “Frost-Brie the Cheeseman” board that kids and adults are sure to love. A portion of the proceeds from Hanukkah board purchases will be donated to the Jewish Federation of St. Louis. Boards serve eight to 15 people; orders must be placed with 48 hours’ notice.

The team at The Lou Charcuterie claims you’ll be the hit of the party with their boards, and we have to agree. In addition to their regular offerings, they are also offering five different sizes of a Christmas charcuterie board, a Christmas tree charcuterie wood board, a large holiday dessert board, and a hot cocoa board.

Honey Bee’s is once again offering holiday biscuit boxes for your winter gathering. Boxes include six biscuits of either take-and-bake (includes the honey glaze), baked honey glazed biscuits, or baked blueberry biscuits. Additional holiday offerings include gravy, honey or brown sugar cinnamon butter and a variety of jams, coffee, and housemade coffee syrups.

Mains

Order a barbecue feast for a large gathering with customizable combinations from Adam’s Smokehouse. The restaurant’s brisket, ribs, smoked turkey and sides are available in bundles that will feed 8 to 10. Additional sides in bulk and meat by the pound are also available. Adam’s encourages orders to be placed sooner rather than later because when the smokers fill up, the orders shut down.

Holiday hams and turkeys are available for preorder from Bogart’s in Soulard. The famed barbecue shop’s smoked bacon-wrapped ham feeds eight to 10, and its smoked turkey breast feeds six to eight. Of course, additional items can be added to your order, such as their fan-favorite ribs.

Annie Gunn’s Smoke House Market

The Smoke House Market at Annie Gunn’s is ready to assist with your entire holiday meal.
