Hey everybody. So today I’m going to show you my recipe for spinach and artich choke dip. I first posted this recipe a few years ago and let me tell you it went big. This is the recipe that I let people try if they don’t like spinach and artich choke dip and I’ve converted a lot of people cuz I was one of those people myself and I made this and I haven’t looked back since. Start out I got 16 ounces of some freshly shredded mozzarella that I’m in one block of some cream cheese in about a half a cup of some chopped bacon. You can use the real bacon bits if you want to. I like to cook and chop my own. One can of some quarted artich choke hearts drained. About 10 ounces of some cooked spinach. You can use the frozen kind and cook it in the microwave. Or you can sauté it some butter in the skillet. Couple cloves of some minced garlic. And where this really kicks off, one full container of that arose queso blanco. If you know, you know. If you don’t, you really need to find out. After that, I’m going to hit it with some garlic butter from my old buddy Heath RS and a good dose of my SPG for good measure. Start mixing this together till we get it nice and incorporated. I’ve actually got my new Oklahoma Joe’s Toma 900 fired up, running 250. Got some hickory wood chunks in there from Old Smoky Woods. We’re going to cook this on a brand new grill. Let’s go get it on the grill. Come back and stir it in about 30 minutes. So, it’s a little dark outside tonight, but I got my Tacoma going 250. I’m going top rack here. Kind of keep that heat directly off the bottom while our cheese melts. See y’all in 30 minutes. So, been on for 30 minutes. Just look at that starting to melt together. Let’s go and give it a good stir. So, all right, we stirred it up. Let’s go about 30 more minutes. I think we’ll be done. Let’s bring this dip in. I’m ready to eat. Take a look at this stuff. Let me tell you, I made it before and I’ve posted it before. And if you’ve tried it, you already know this is going to be your next favorite spinach and artich choke dip. A lot of times I like to serve this up with pita chips. I forgot to buy them at the store. And uh all I had was some tortilla chips, but it’s good this way, too. You eat it with whatever chip that you want, but let me tell you, I ain’t found anything it didn’t go with yet. Try this out sometime whether it’s game day, a regular get together, or make for dinner one night like me. My wife and I were talking, decided we haven’t had it in a while, and it was time. This is my spinach and artich choke dip. Try it out. Let me know what you think. But as far as me, it’s time to go for that bite. I’m going tell you right now, this right here, that’s where it’s at.
