You gotta lower the heat on your pan bud, you gotta get that golden brown crust not burnt.

Nice job looks great

Noted on lowering the heat next time.

Hold my Monday morning Don Julio double shot Tequila Sunrise, I’m on my way over!

Did you marinate the steak in something before cooking it? This looks like you burned whatever it was cooking in. It’s hard to burn a steak on a stove without also nuking the inside, unless you cook it from frozen.

Needs more edge sear hold with tongs and press the sides down into the pan
Otherwise not bad!

You must have had a screaming hot cast iron and some burned butter? Nice crust, just a bit too hot the black tends to be a off putting bitter flavor

I think you’re a natural, keep on cooking steaks.

Nice plate , where’d you get it ?
Zestyclose-Wafer2503
Did you cook it on the surface of the sun?
Broarethus
Nobody going to ask?, u/trey0824 did it taste burnt on the crust?
Looks very crunchy and for me I would probably cut the crust off lol.

Not bad but lower the temp a little next time and try to turn that black sear into a dark brown. That should also increase the amount of red in the middle so you get less overcooking on the edges.

Sharper knife. Looks like it was sawed
Realistic-Fact-2584
Did it catch on fire?
