New mobile app takes the guess work out of finding local food trucks

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Have you ever been cruising the streets looking for some good food?

You decide you want to support a food truck. But after searching about 10 different apps, you still have to find out their location. It’s frustrating, right?

Well, not anymore.

There is a new app that is new on the scene called Kraven that makes your woes of finding a food truck disappear.

The idea was born from founder Braden Crow, who visited Houston and couldn’t find a food truck promptly. So he and his friend Drake Willhite said, “There has to be a better way to find food trucks quickly. Why don’t we just build an app that lets you know where all the food trucks are?”

That’s when Kraven was born.

The app is free for customers and allows food truck owners to register so they can update their location, menu offerings and event information.

Kraven allows you to locate where your favorite food trucks are. Once you locate the truck, you can even look at the menu before you head that way. Wherever you are, they will give you the 411 on where all the food trucks are.

Kraven has been live for about two months now, and once they get a few more features added, you will be able to eventually find trucks and order food. But for right now, it’s just a handy one-stop shop to find your favorite food truck.

Kraven is on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. You will be Kraven to find good food trucks.
