So any chance there is an opening in Quality Control department to help you eat, I mean test, these delicious goodies?

  4. sfearing91

OP – I’ve been thinking of doing the same to get out of my crappy moods.

Which one inspired you to keep going?

It all looks so good. That’s awesome you are having fun.

I have an extremely stressful job and baking helps a lot. Give those away asap.

I am a stress eater. I will bake 3 dozen cookies and grab a few every time I walk past the kitchen. Before I know it, I have eaten 3 dozen cookies.

The carb overload makes me feel like crud and the stress gets worse. It can be a vicious cycle.

My gosh these look amazing! So glad you’re finding some joy in something (especially since you’re clearly talented!)

  9. InternationalBend310

I feel this so hard. Baking helped carry me through some bad spots over the past year +. Quick breads also helped me eat when everything else made my stomach churn.

    Lean into it.

  14. Beautiful work. I tell my neighbors to check for my texts often as I’m in anxiety baking mode and will be doing quick deliveries as things come out of the oven.

There’s something so healing about the rthym of baking. You made something beautiful, and it shows.

I understand you very well. Since my puppy died and then my father died, I haven’t been able to feel well
I could no longer paint or create objects. But slowly I started cooking and was recovering. I came to Reddit because a friend of mine told me it was cute but I put my cooked food on the cooking and food subreddit and they attacked me and treated me terribly. And after reporting and trying to stay there, I left because it was more pleasant for me.
Now I’m still here and I hope to stay and be able to make more desserts. So continue like this, it’s a good way out of sadness. It worked for me. 💗
