Savor a taste of France with a Julia Child-inspired dinner from Mastering the Art of French Cooking on Wednesday, November 12 from 5 – 9pm with Ironwood at the South Shore Country Club.
The three-course tasting is $82 per person and $112 with accompanied wine pairings. Diners will begin with charcuterie and then savor Child’s signature Boeuf Bourguignon or a delicate Sole Meunière and finish with the renowned Apple Tarte Tatin alongside a selection of curated wines. A full menu can be found below. For reservations, call 781-749-1720, or reserve online here.
The team behind the newly operated, owned, and managed Ironwood plans on executing monthly cookbook clubs. “For years we’ve wanted to do a tribute dinner inspired by a chef, cookbook, or place that influenced us as chefs,” shares Guest Chef and Food & Beverage Director, Alison Hearn. “And for our November Cookbook Club, we turned towards the doyenne of French cooking, Julia Child. We selected Julia Child and Mastering the Art of French Cooking because her legacy has encouraged generations of home cooks and professional chefs worldwide to trust their abilities and pursue greater confidence and creativity in the kitchen.”
