Thanksgiving is coming up, so let me show you how to make this super easy cranberry sauce. Rinse 12 oz of cranberry and be sure to discard the ones that are not good. Add it to the pot. Then add half a cup of orange juice and half a cup of water. To that, add 1 cup of sugar and about half a teaspoon of orange zest. You can also use brown sugar and orange marmalade instead of the white sugar and the orange zest. Bring it to a boil and watch those bad boys pop. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes until it thickens. And then place into a heats safe bowl.

I was just telling my daughter that I didn't want to get high fructose corn syrup cranberry sauce in the can.
