The peppers aren’t real and the cheese rides the line between fiction/non

It’s not very hot, but I think the flavor is good

I agree with everyone here. No real heat to speak of, but decent flavor for a Walmart cheese.

It’s okay. I put it in my burritos and chili. It’s Great Value, people. It’s not gourmet.

Yeah there’s a little heat but it’s not like super spicy and it’s my new favorite cheese from Walmart.

I haven’t tried this one but I tried the Tillamook Spicy Colby jack slices and it had a bigger kick than I expected it to! 10/10 that cheese

I’ll never buy anything great value with the amount of recalls Walmart brands get. Nice idea though.

  8. Bag says limited edition yet they have had it in stores for I believe over a year now.

But to answer your question I find it pretty mild

I haven’t tried it but I wouldn’t eat it in that form because the shredded cheese in rhe bag has saw dust in it

It’s good! Not extremely spicy but not extremely pricey.

If you have a Hy-Vee near you, their reaper cheese is pretty decent.

I love it. it does have some spice to it. I buy at least 3 bags every time i go grocery shopping. Doesn’t taste generic either.

Great value is an oxymoron in this case

  14. Illegal_Tender

Pre shredded cheese is not ideal in almost any situation imo

It’s good! I think it’s pretty hot but I also don’t eat reapers for fun. I like my food to be medium heat and don’t make every dish spicy.

If Tilamook made some and it was in my area, I’d try it. But I’m definitely going to pass on the great value one.

Fuck I was just at Walmart, wish I had seen this beforehand 😭

  18. Good for the price, better than I expected. Hy Vee has a similar blend that is better

  19. basement-thug

It’s very underwhelming as expected. I like to use it to gucci up frozen pizzas and adds a little heat.

  20. Triad_Tarheel1991

The Cabot habanero had some pretty good heat honestly. Nothing insane but it lets you know that it’s there!

  21. in1gom0ntoya

yes and no. everything from Walmart is pedestrian spicy or just salty. this is no exception.

  22. Sufficient_Two_5753

“Reaper cheese” OR “cheese reaper ” would be a decent band name.

All depends on your tolerance. But if I want spicy shredded cheese, I’ll just get a block of Carolina reaper Cheddar and Ghost pepper cheddar from this local dairy we have and mix the two. It’s also great on a grilled cheese.

  24. ifixflatheads

Kindred ghost pepper Colby jack is the best one I’ve tried.

  25. It’s only hot if your a milquetoast white person

  26. OutrageousAd4621

This is in no way Carolina reaper hot but it has a nice flavor. For non heat eaters it is warm.

  27. R2-D2savestheday

I like it but we’ve got some spicer ghost pepper cheese (slices) at the corner store down the street
