Luna Grill, the fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant brand celebrated for its bold flavors and clean, high-quality ingredients, is officially making its Arizona debut with the opening of its first location in Mesa on Nov. 11, 2025, at 9317 E. Ray Road, Suite 102, in Eastmark.

Founded in 2004 in San Diego by husband-and-wife team Sean and Maria Pourteymour, Luna Grill has grown to 53 locations across Southern California and the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Mesa restaurant marks the brand’s 54th location and its first step in a larger Arizona expansion planned for 2026 and beyond.

“Arizona has been our number one most-requested market, so we’re bringing the heat with our grand opening promotions,” said Billy Grenham, chief marketing officer at Luna Grill in a statement. “Once you taste the difference, you’ll have your ‘ah-ha’ moment. Luna is all about real, cooked-to-order food made from clean ingredients that truly fuel you. We’re so excited to launch in Mesa.”

Rooted in the No. 1 diet in America — the Mediterranean diet — Luna Grill offers a modern twist on authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Every dish is seasoned by hand, marinated with scratch-made family recipes and grilled over an open flame. Guests can enjoy a vibrant menu of flame-grilled kabobs, signature bowls, crisp salads, fresh pitas and family meals. Each meal is crafted from clean, nutrient-
packed ingredients designed to power busy lives.

To celebrate the Mesa grand opening, Luna Grill is rolling out a lineup of special offers beginning Nov. 11, including:
– A free bowl and exclusive Luna hat for the first 100 visitors on opening day
– Kids Eat Free in-restaurant for rewards members (with the purchase of an adult entrée) through year’s end
– A free bowl for veterans and active-duty military members in honor of Veterans Day
– Double points for loyalty members on all purchases throughout opening week
– A free bowl reward in December for guests who order through the Luna Grill app in November

The Luna Grill app (Club Luna) serves as the brand’s central hub, giving guests access to exclusive rewards, personalized offers and complimentary guidance from registered dietitians to help them make better food choices that fit their lifestyle. All new Club Luna members receive $5 off their first purchase and $10 back for every $100 spent.

“More people today are looking for food that fuels them — meals made with clean ingredients that help them feel good and live well,” said Rich Pinnella, CEO of Luna Grill. “That’s been our mission from day one, and we can’t wait to share that mission with Arizona.”
