The Paradise Pit Stop Christmas Day event, now in its third year, will see more than 350 vulnerable individuals and families welcomed from across the community.
Started in 2023 by the Celtic FC Foundation, the initiative has quickly become an annual tradition, offering a haven for those who might otherwise face the festive season alone.

Visitors to Celtic Park on December 25 will be treated to a traditional Christmas meal, festive entertainment, and gifts.
Importantly, they will also have access to essential support services, aiming to spread joy and create cherished memories during what can be a difficult time for many.
The ongoing demand for the Paradise Pit Stop underscores the Foundation’s commitment to compassion, inclusion, and community spirit, particularly on Christmas Day.
Celtic Park transforms into a place of comfort and kindness for those battling poverty, hardship, or loneliness.

However, the Foundation’s efforts extend beyond just Christmas Day.
The Paradise Pit Stop operates throughout the year, providing free, nutritious meals four days a week at Celtic Park.
The service is available every Monday and Thursday evening from 5pm to 7pm, and every Wednesday and Friday lunchtime from 12 noon to 2pm.
These regular sessions offer a warm, welcoming environment where anyone in need can enjoy good food, friendly company, and a sense of community, ensuring that support, comfort, and connection are available well beyond the festive period.
The Foundation has urged those genuinely in need of support, or those spending Christmas alone, to register for the event, as places are limited.
The annual Christmas Day event not only offers a lifeline to those in need but also highlights the power of community and the spirit of giving.

The initiative also shines a light on the broader issue of poverty and loneliness, particularly during the festive season.
While many celebrate with family and friends, others face a starkly different reality, grappling with loneliness and financial hardship.
