

Craving a decent steak I bought this fairly expensive T bone in Bali.
It was a nice thicker cut which is hard to find here. While it was nicely marbled it lacked the depth of flavour that we get in North America. I dry aged it for a few days in a cooler to bring out the colour and taste. After grilling it was still relatively pale in the middle. Australian cattle are mostly a drought resistant grass fed beef strain.
Not a complaint but a comparison.
