A new Italian restaurant and takeaway is opening in Wycombe today, November 11, in a former bakery.

Hungry Yasmine, a family-owned pasticceria and pizzeria, is opening at 273 Amersham Road, Hazlemere, in the former Progress Bakery site.

On social media, the Progress Bakery account shared details of the new opening and expressed its support for the business.

It said: “Opening next week please support this lovely new family on their new venture.”

Hungry Yasmine has previously served its ‘fresh, homemade’ food, which it says is ‘full of love’ at The Griffin pub in Chesham.

This ended in July and the company took a break before reopening at the new shop.

It will be selling Italian pizzas, pastries and coffee at the Wycombe site.

On Facebook, the business has been sharing images as it prepared sourdough loaves, Tozzetti, pistachio macarons, and Brutti ma Buoni for the big opening.

In the comments, community members expressed their excitement and best wishes for the new restaurant.

Nicola Darvell stated: “Good luck guys, we will come and have one of your lovely pizzas soon.”

Abdelhadi Mouti added: “100/100 italian.”

On the macarons, Marija Stevanoska wrote: “Can’t wait to try them!”

The company stated: “Now open for takeaway and with indoor tables if you’d like to stay and enjoy.”
