
I made a batch of icing this morning but forgot to add water. I added it after the powdered sugar instead of before and now the icing is not stiff. Can I still use it? The icing is for practice cookies. I'm thinking I can just add powdered sugar to smaller batches if I need it to be stiff.

Just add more water a little bit at a time and mix until you get the consistency you want. Depending on what kind of decorations you are doing you might want different consistencies.
Yes you can just add more powdered sugar till you get it as stiff as you need!
