Thank you JapaneseChef456 for your help. I went to this little place today and it was super difficult to communicate with the host. But using translator and because it was a very small familiar business the host and his wife had a lot of patience with me. We ended up being almost friends.

I can't stress enough the human quality of most Japanese people. They made me feel at home and they even asked me a lot of questions about my origin country.

Regarding the menu:

First photo is the appetizer offered by them. It was tuna (left), the others I don't remember but the Japanese words are in the photo.

Second photo was omakase sashimi. One of the best tuna I ever had.

Third one is eel with shitake mushroom cooked on the pot

They even offered some free sake at the end.

This will be my best memory from Japan.

Thanks again u/JapaneseChef456

Appetizer: left to right: simmered Tuna with soy sauce and ginger. Spinach with Katsuobushi flakes and soy sauce. Royal fern shoots with deep fried Tôfu.

Pro tip. You can translate with your phone. Open translation app and point at things. Real time translation.

OT, but every time I think my Japanese skills are progressing I see handwritten Japanese and feel like I don’t understand ANYTHING.

No idea what any of that was before the reveal, still wanted to eat every piece.

    The cuisine there…so good.
