I tried my guest batch of macarons few days ago (you can find it in my profile) and it wasn't great : my macarons had no feet and they were cracked.
Tried a second time and had the same result. So I changed the recipe (both had Italian meringue) and the macarons improved significantly 😄
They've got the little feet and they're not cracked. Only problem is that they didn't flatten out so some look like n*pples 😂
Apparently I didn't do the macaronnage long enough ?
I didn't use any dye cause the ones I have are expired, though they're sealed, but I didn't wanna risk it.
I think I'm gonna take a break from this macarons obsession as I'm not even a fan of them, but it was fun experimenting !
I need ganaches and fillings ideas, preferably ones that don't require white chocolate as I don't really wanna work with that.
I'll probably retry them at some point in December, so I can get friends and family to try.

Here's a picture of my third and latest batch and a comparison between the first and third.

The first batch is the one all chocolate. I used cocoa so I wouldn’t have to use a dye.
