As we move closer to December, many of us will be starting to plan ahead for our Christmas dinner. With this in mind, shoppers have suggested a new all-in-one M&S dinner may be “ideal for Christmas”.
Major retailer M&S has released two new all-in-one dinners for £8 each, which feature a range of meat, veg, roast potatoes and stuffing balls inside a large Yorkshire pudding.
Announcing the two new meals on the supermarket’s Facebook account, M&S wrote: “Fancy your dinner INSIDE a Yorkshire pudding? … we thought that might be the answer!
“Our brand new deep-filled Collection meals feature a perfectly portioned roast dinner loaded into a giant, golden Yorkshire Pudding bowl. Tuck into the middle, then tear away the sides to mop up what’s left.”

The supermarket has also launched two meals for shoppers to choose from – the British Hog Roast Yorkshire Pudding and the British Turkey Feast Yorkshire Pudding.
Revealing the two meals, M&S added: “Ideal for an easy festive mid-week meal, just bung them in the oven and get ready to devour!”
Spotting the item in stores, many shoppers have been quick to share their thoughts on the dinners on social media.
With both meals landing on shelves in the run up to the holidays, one shopper, Tony Brampton, suggested on the popular Facebook page Snack Reviews that the meals would be “ideal for Christmas”.
A second shopper, Tony Brampton, then added: “Great for a person on their own at Christmas.”
While a third shopper, Samantha Dixon, wrote: “Christmas dinner sorted.”
However, on social media the item appears to have divided shoppers, with some saying a fundamental element of the meals should not be on a Christmas dinner.
On Facebook, one shopper, Sue Park, wrote: “The old Yorkshire pudding debate. That’s a Sunday lunch. No yorkies at Xmas.”
While another shopper, Lyn Watts, replied: “Yorkshire pudding is the best part. I’d rather go without meat than without Yorkshire pudding.”
