Hi friend. Welcome back to my kitchen. If YouTube brought you here, welcome. My name is Stacy and around here I create quick, easy, delicious, affordable meals. Now, you can probably see this plate of flatbread in front of me. This flatbread is dairyfree. It only has three ingredients and it’s going to come together in a snap. We use this flatbread as a pizza crust or as cheesy garlic bread and it’s also great for your scarpetta at the end of pasta night to kind of clean up that plate of all of that yummy marinara sauce. But one of my favorite ways to have it is as an openf face sandwich. I love to do just a little barbecued chicken in the air fryer and lay it on one of these as an openf face sandwich. It is delicious. It’s going to come together in a snap. So, what do you say? Let’s get to it. For our three ingredient flatbread, all we need is some flour, some oil, and some hot water straight out of your tap. Now, for the flour, I like to use white lily, but any self-rising flour will do. The trick to this being three ingredients is the self-rising. This already has all of your baking soda, your salt, everything that you’re going to need is already in this flour. We need two cups of that. Then, we need a/2 of a cup of oil. Now, you can use vegetable oil. I prefer avocado oil. Either oil will do. And then a half a cup of water, whatever’s hottest, straight out of your tap, like I said. Now, we’re going to stir this together. This is going to come together so easy and it’s going to make six flatbreads. It’s a super easy recipe to have if you only want to do three, but it freezes beautifully. I would say go ahead and make the entire six flatbread recipe and stick them in the freezer. See how easy that came together? Now, all we have to do is split them up into six different sections. And I’m going to eyeball this, but if you want to get out your kitchen scale, you could definitely do that, too. All righty. Put those off to the side. And we’re going to knead it just a little bit to kind of toughen it up a little bit. You have two options when it comes to this flatbread. You can either do a tortilla press or you can do a rolling pin. whatever you have. Either one works. I’ll do both just so you can see. So, I have my plastic wrap off to the side. And of course, it’s stuck to itself because I was going to be so efficient and have this pre-done for us and then it stuck to itself. I know. We’re shocked, right? All righty. So, one goes in. Plop that into the tortilla. Press. Top it with another piece of plastic wrap. And there we go. Now, this will puff up in the pan when we bake it. So, I’m going to put this off to the side and do all of our other ones. For our last one, I just wanted to do it with a rolling pin in case you don’t have the tortilla press. So, the tortilla press is a cheap Amazon find. I think pretty much most of my kitchen are Amazon finds. The mat is an Amazon find. The spatulas are an Amazon find. And I’ll link it all in the description below. All righty. So, I have this in between the two sheets. And we’ll just come in with our rolling pin and smooth it out. There we go. Now, let’s head to the stove. I’m just going to give my pan little spray. Now, you can do this in a pan. You can do this on a griddle. You can do this on the black stone. whichever way. You just need a flat surface. Super easy. Now, we’ll take our flatbread and we’re gonna just toss it onto the pan. And we’re just going to let that brown on both sides. You’ll see that it’ll start to puff up a little bit. And that’s great. That’s what you want cuz you want those bubbles and things in there. Here we have it. All six of our flatbreads.   2. Ok I made one. The flour overwhelmed me on the first one. I beat up the second one a little bit more and it was better. I still got a lot of flour taste. I will keep trying,
