People dunk on Beach Cliff because it’s cheap but I thought it was great. Big firm fish and I loved the hot sauce.

It’s too fishy/cat food-ish to me. Not bad for the price but definitely not a personal preference for me.

I like beach cliff (both flavors here? But I like to eat with onions, garlic, hot sauce, kewpie, etc etc. Make a meal out of it.

I think everyone has tried this tin, it’s so widely available. I like it ok personally, but IMO the fish steaks tin in the same sauce is better.
Also there are so many better tins out there in the marketplace that a taste great and are better values.
If you have access to Asian supermarkets, try the small round tins of Ligo, 555, or 999 sardines in different sauces.
Check my profile and search those brands – I love a good can of saucy cheap sardines

I didn’t like the mustard flavored one, was too watery and watered down, but the hot sauce ones are great if you jazz them up a bit with your favorite toppings on a chip or cracker. I think the vinegar in the hot sauce really cuts down on the fishiness.

I’m a big fan of saucing your own deens. However, the quality difference between expensive sardines and cheap ones is a game of inches. Just buy whatever your wallet doesn’t regret.

I’m in Oregon, and grew up in California. I have always seen the Louisiana hot sauce tin all over the place. I’ve never tried it, because I don’t love spicy food, but it’s very common where I live.

I love these as well. These and Walmart brands are a good gateway introductory deen. I’ve personally started targeting sustainable sourced so stopped getting these until it’s more clear about 3rd party validity even though they state they are sustainably caught. That said, so tasty!

Beech cliff mustard broke my cherry. Been a sardine head ever since. i eat them for the omega threes to reduce body inflammation. and cost for protein is unbeatable.
Bumble bee is my goat but I wouldn’t be eating right with out bc

Personally I hate the mustard ones but absolutely love the hot sauce ones. I’ll often hit it with a little extra Tabasco, too.
