LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – WILX News 10 announces the release of Baking News: Recipes & Stories from David Andrews, a 152-page collectible cookbook that brings the longtime anchor’s warmth and storytelling from the newsroom to the kitchen.
The book features a delicious mix of recipes, personal stories, and favorite dishes from David, as well as contributions from familiar faces across WILX News 10.
This isn’t just another collection of recipes — it’s a true community project from WILX and David’s heart. Each page blends great food, beautiful photos, and a good story — just what you’d expect from one of Mid-Michigan’s most trusted voices.
“Baking News is our way of celebrating that side of David – the generous, flour-dusted one who’s just as comfortable behind a mixing bowl as he is behind the anchor desk,” said WILX General Manager, Debbie Petersmark.
“We’d also like to thank the Michigan Farm Bureau for their generous support,” Petersmark said. “Their full-service print shop in Lansing designed and printed the cookbook and it’s absolutely beautiful. They generously provided a portion of their services as an in-kind sponsorship of the project.”
