Nice and productive in hot and humid weather. If your weather doesnt go above the 100s, i dont see why these would stop producing during the summer unless they caught a disease. I was reluctant to grow these due to it being an heirloom and I want all the resistances I can get in my environment. Don't get me wrong, this is my 3rd time growing them and only the first time trying them. I am also growing yellow mimi and that plant still got hit with disease despite all its long list of resistances. The flavor is hard to explain. Maybe a tomato flavor with a sweetness that amplifies it so it doesn't taste like a tomato? My girlfriend was amazed with the flavor, but she still prefers sungolds. If I was only growing for myself and could only grow one cherry tomato, it would be this variety without a question.

Black cherry is a staple in my roster every year. The flavour is nice and it’s so productive. Plus it produces quickly and for a good long while. Absolutely a fan. They’re good in sauce and I love them with cheese.

Try midnight snack tomatoes, they start black on top and green on bottom and eventually ripen to black and red

Well done! I also love eating black cherry; just find them difficult to grow. But I grow them every year anyhow because they are so tasty.
