Hi friends, welcome to Vidya’s cooking channel. This is Vidya Lakmi. Today I’m going to be showing you an Arabic inspired pomegranate salad. This is very nice and tasty. For this recipe, I’ll be using pomegranate. I’ve used a very fresh pomegranate. I’ve just peeled it and reserved it. We need uh freshly and finely chopped uh spring onions, mint, coriander, finely chopped cucumber, onion, green chilies, feta cheese, lime. Then I’ve got a bunch of spices here. Roasted cumin seeds, pepper powder, salt, roasted sesame seeds, and olive oil for this recipe. Now, first what we’ll do is we’ll add all the powdered spices. that is roasted cumin powder, pepper powder, roasted sesame seeds, salt. Then I’ve added the finely chopped chilies, onion, mint, coriander, parsley. I’ll also add some lime juice and mix all these ingredients first. Don’t add your pomegranate seeds right away. It’ll get crushed. Next, I’ve added some olive oil. Mixed all the ingredients. Once all the ingredients are well combined, check for salt. Add salt if needed. Now I’ll be adding the pomegranate seeds. We’ll stir and mix all the ingredients. You can refrigerate this and serve this chilled or you can serve it in room temperature. It’s very nice and tasty either ways. Now I’m going to be uh just dishing this out and topping the salad with some feta cheese. Since I’ve added feta cheese, please make sure you don’t add too much salt. If you add too much salt, the feta cheese contains a lot of salt in it already. So do try this recipe friends. You can have it for lunch itself. You don’t need any other uh meal along with this. This is this salad is a meal on its own. It’s very nice and healthy and very tasty. The feta cheese and the pomegranate pairs very well. The sweet and salty combination. So hope you all enjoyed this video. All the ingredients are very easily available on all online app stores. So now it’s pomegranate season. Do give this recipe a try. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe and also share this recipe with your friends and family. Until next time, this is Vidya Lakshmi. Thank you so much for watching. Bye-bye.
