Hello, can anyone provide some advice on what’s going on with my potted cherry plant. It is planted alongside two pepper plants and has developed what looks like a white powdery coating.
Secondly, in Southern California. What to do in winter/how do I keep this alive in the off season. Thank you!

You have powdery mildew. Tomatoes aren’t typically something you overwinter, you start fresh for a new season.
It would be tough for a plant to recover from powdery mildew like that
