I planted late, mid summer this year , a lot of plants. Overwintered 5, put one under a growlight inside,
But fungus and aphids were almost the end of the plant , so i decided to cut early.. i mean is this early?
The variety is the “Jamaican Rosso” to my knowledge it’s a sub habanero type. The heat fits in that category imo.
Planning to do a bottle of sauce out of these.
I really like orange.

Edit : “First” harvest.
I said i mispelled something.
The redbones aren’t cut early they look nice and ripe. I think they are what everyone call Jamaican mushroom peppers. I grew some too this year sold as Jamaican Hot and they look almost identical.
They are a little milder than habaneros or scotch bonnets but they have a nice flavour to them and would make a lovely sauce
Ohhh what a great first harvest! Every harvest after is a bit more productive. Spraying the aphids with water mixed with dish soap is super effective for any future infestations:)
Looks good 👍🏽 Feel proud and enjoy❣️❣️🕉️☯️☮️🌶️🌶️🌶️
