My 1st go at Winterizing my plants. I put these in 2 weeks before the 1st freeze hit. They’re already sprouting new growth, should i pick off the new leaves or continue letting them bush out ? i wasn’t expecting a winter crop but will take it if i can get it.
The plants are in my walk in freezer at a constant 72 degrees.

Mine are about to look like that in a week or so.

I’m in the same boat! Just made a post the other day asking about my winterizing attempt. I got a mix of, *”looks great! Don’t mess with them too much”* and *”you should move it to a dark 40° garage”*

I’ve decided to throw one of each of my pepper lines in the dark, cold garage. The others I’m keeping in a similar setup to yours. I figured mine are island peppers, so they probably think 65° IS winter. Might be worth a shot, hahaha
