I also prepare a large batch of frozen garlic cubes months in advance so this meal comes together really easy.

Welcome back to another episode of Dinners That Require Zero Thinking. Today we’re making canned sardines. Get yourself a can of sardines. This is the 999 brand and I went to Hong Kong Market in Arlington, Texas. Chop up some shallots. I got some minced up garlic. I’m also going to chop up some Thai chilis cuz I want this to burn my booty hole. Just a little bit. So, I’m only doing two. My eyes burning from the onions. This is not dirty. It’s just a little stained like your teeth. We’re going to heat up some oil. Babe, you’re eating this, right? You ain’t got a choice. I’m not making anything else. Once this is nice and hot, we’re going to sauté everything. Be careful with the peppers. Might burn your eyes. Once this is nice and aromatic, we’re going to add in our sardines. You’re going to cook this for 3 to 5 minutes. If you want, you can kind of break up the fish a little bit. it. I wouldn’t recommend breaking it up too much. There’s bones in this. You can eat the bones. We’re going to season this with some sugar, chicken buon. I’m going to add a little bit of fish sauce. Not too much cuz it’s already salty. [Music] I’m going to cover and let this cook for a couple of minutes. Ooh, that smells good. I’m going to add some black pepper to this. Turn off my heat. I already gave two to Andy. That’s why there’s two missing. Our fish right in the center. Ooh. The sauce is the good part. Don’t forget the sauce. Cilantro. Scallion. That was thinly sliced onions. This is scallion. This doesn’t look like much, but it’s bomb.com. Ask your mom. It’s a complete flavor bomb. If you know, you know. M. And if you don’t know, you better find out. Mhm. Delicious.
