18g, dark roast 2.5:1 espresso shot
250ml Tonic Water(Jimmy’s)
150g ice.

Pretty refreshing recipe, would recommend using the tonic water with least amount of sugar.

Pretty much how I make it. Trick is to make sure your tonic water has stopped foaming before dropping the espresso shot. I do ice > tonic > pause > espresso. I use Fever Tree, but I tried it at a cafe with some generic tonic and it didn’t taste bad either tbh.

I just had a lavender tonic water cold brew from regent coffee. It looks beautiful, but just reading the name alone didn’t sound good at all to my brain. I was really mixed, but then in love at first sip. It’s really refreshing. I’m so exhausted and my writing shows it lol.

I drank that for a while, ice cream, Schweppes Tonic Zero and then espresso straight from the Gaggia into the tonic.

Makes the whole thing creamier, and was nice in the summer.

Love these. But the tonic always fizzes up when I add it to espresso and ice. No fizz left before it’s ready

I tried a few variations of sour bitter flavor and they all works with espresso.

    Tonic espresso
    Orange juice espresso
Sparkling soda x lemon juice espresso
    Lemonade espresso

Love adding a shot of Limoncello for an extra touch!
